In our experience teaching and practicing leadership, one of the hallmarks of effective leadership is the commitment that team members show when the "leader" is not there.
Commitment is therefore the real test of the impact of your leadership on your people. If your people "run riot" every time you turn your back, or look up to you for even the most mundane decisions, or perhaps spend more time whining rather doing, then you need to pay attention to the behaviours and skills that help to enhance ownership and personal accountability.
Please listen to our latest podcast episode on “Fostering Ownership Thinking” to explore these skills and behaviours by clicking this link.
I trust that you will find it useful and that you will invite and encourage others to do the same.
